Quantum Instruments are well known for their array of incredible compact studio style flashes. One flash they’ve been lacking is the ringflash which they have just announced. The new Omicron has the ability to be used as a flash strobe or a continuous light source for video or still usage. I’m quite excited about the possibilities of using the contant light for use with stills, more so than the flash itself.
